Introduction

The two-year Fashion Design course of Harim proposes a study plan in accordance with current market needs, combining all elements of fashion design sector. This is a sector that needs the Italian sartorial tradition to be used with the purpose of improving the made-in-Italy and, at the same time, needs to be protected by foreign competition.

Admission to the Fashion Design course 

Italian and foreigners citizens with a high school diploma or a degree can enroll to this course. This course is for a limited number of students only which have to pass an aptitude test and a preliminary interview. You can make a reservation for the selections at any time of the year, by phone or by e-mail.

 

Duration of the course
The Fashion Design course is two-year long. The academic year starts in October and ends in May. The educational program offers a full immersion of 16 hours a week (8 hours a day two times a week). This program is suitable for non-resident students. Our information office is at students’ beck and call for advices about the choice of the course and the planning accommodation of non-resident students. At the end of the academic year, the competence of the student is constantly evaluated with oral exams and projects.
Job opportunities
The fashion system is one of the main pillars of the made-in-Italy companies and it is still increasing. This is linked to a greater demand of professionals and experts of the fashion who need to be trained in a complete way. At the end of the course, students can work as freelancers or work in style and technical offices in companies of the sector.
Graduation release
At the end of the course, a two-year Fashion Design diploma is released to students.
Post-curricular area
Harim Academy offers students the opportunity to take part in national and international contests, support for personal projects, collaboration in backstage, participation in photo-shoots as stylists, collaboration with the online magazine HARIMAG, talent scouting, hair model /hostess / promoter with the partner agency Castdiva.
