Introduction

The two-year Fashion Design Technology course of Harim has a study plan that aims at training in a rapid but complete way professional figures who can work in every sector of the Fashion Design field. Its training proposal combines the Italian sartorial tradition with all changes having affected the Fashion Design world in the last few years at an international scale, with the purpose of drawing attention to the made-in-Italy sector. One of the main parts of the course focuses on new technological skills related to the design software CAD, an useful tool to rapidly design collections, cut and shape of textiles. Another part of the course is dedicated to subjects related to fashion products communication, whose mastery is a key element to meet all needs of a constantly evolving market.

Thanks to a theoretical, practical and technological approach, to the chance of taking part in workshops and project works and to a team of teachers who are experienced professionals of the sector, the outgoing figure is a Fashion Designer who masters every steps of the creative and manufacturing process of fashion products and can work at every levels of the Fashion System.

Admission to the Fashion Design Technology Course

Italian and foreigners citizens with a high school diploma or a degree can enroll to this course. This course is for a limited number of students only which have to pass an aptitude test and a preliminary interview. You can make a reservation for the selections at any time of the year, by phone or by e-mail.

Duration of the course

The Fashion Design Technology course is two-year long. The academic year starts in October and ends in May. The educational program offers a full immersion of 24 hours a week (8 hours a day three times a week). This program is suitable for non-resident students. Our information office is at students’ beck and call for advices about the choice of the course and the planning accommodation of non-resident students. At the end of every academic year, the competence of students is evaluated with oral exams and projects.

The fashion system is one of the main industries of the made-in-Italy sector and its importance is still increasing. In relation to that, the research of professionals is growing and for this reason choosing the right training program is the key element to start a successful career. At the end of the two-year Fashion Design Technology course, students can work as freelancers or in style and technical offices of fashion system companies.

Graduation release

At the end of the course, a two-year Fashion Design Technology diploma is released to students.
