The Goldsmithing Techniques course aims at a complete training of those who want to start a career as technicians in a jewelry lab. Subjects focus on the acquisition of every skills necessary to realize jewels, from the learning to the application of goldsmithing techniques. The outgoing figure is a real gold artisan who is able to realize high-quality products thanks to his /her practical competence.

Admission to the Goldsmithing Techniques Course 

Italian and foreigners citizens with an high school diploma or a degree can enroll to this course. This course is for a limited number of students only and they have to pass an aptitude test and a preliminary interview. You can make a reservation for the selections at any time of the year, by phone or by e-mail.

Duration of the course
The Goldsmithing Techniques course is two-year long. The academic year starts in October and ends in May. The educational program offers a full immersion of 8 hours a week (8 hours a day once a week). This program is suitable for non-resident students. Our information office is at students’ beck and call for advices about the choice of the course and the planning accommodation of non-resident students. At the end of the academic year, the competence of the student is evaluated with oral exams and projects and students are rated.

Italian goldsmithing industry is a key element of made-in-Italy handicraft and it has a top-position in the international market. The outgoing figures are high-trained lab goldsmiths, who can work in industrial, semi-industrial and artisan companies but also in specialized professional studios.
Graduation release
At the end of the course, a two-year Goldsmithing Techniques diploma is released to students.
