The two-year Digital Photography and Photo Editing course of Harim gives students the opportunity of acquiring a wide knowledge of digital photography and of latest trend of the fields. Digital photography technology is constantly increasing and it requires always-new updates. At the end of the course, students master a wide range of photographic techniques and they are able to start a successful career in this professional field.

Goals

The main goals of the course is creating a personal portfolio of the student. A student’s personal portfolio is the key element to present his / her previous works when looking for an employment as professional photographer. Thanks to the course, students are able to develop skills needed to tackle the job in a critical and independent way. The development of personal creativity is a crucial aspect, so are a dynamic approach to photography, bearing in mind the context where this art is deployed.

Admission to the Digital Photography and Photo Editing course

Italian and foreigners citizens with a high school diploma or a degree can enroll to this course. This course is for a limited number of students only and they have to pass an aptitude test and a preliminary interview. You can make a reservation for the selections at any time of the year, by phone or by e-mail.

Duration of the course
The Digital Photography and Photo Editing course is two-year long. The academic year starts in October and ends in May. The educational program offers a full immersion of 16 hours a week (8 hours a day two times a week). This program is suitable for non-resident students. Our information office is at students’ disposal for advices about the choice of the course and the planning accommodation of non-resident students. During the academic year, the competence of the student is constantly evaluated with oral exams and projects.

For what concerns job opportunities, these professional figures are likely to be more and more required in the future, in proportion to the growth of online publishing. Many other job opportunities in this field already exist; in photography studios and agencies for instance, in graphics and marketing offices or in the sector of event management.
Graduation release
At the end of the course, a two-year Digital Photography and Photo Editing diploma is released to students.
