Introduction

Harim’s three-year course in Illustration forms a professional figure with high skills in Graphics and Illustration: a designer able to operate in a practical way and in an increasingly evolving sector – that of digital animation- that requires suitably specialized professionalism and transversal skills for the application of different concepts.

Thanks to a multidisciplinary and practical-design approach, the Illustration course gives to students the opportunity to deal directly with the most important sectors of the illustration world. In addition, through the Motion Graphic, Computer Graphic and Graphic Design modules, you will learn to recognize and transpose on the screen the latest demands of the economic sector. In addition, the students will be able to develop practical skills through the different projects addressed, constantly dealing with concrete examples within contemporary society.

Admission to the Illustration course

Italian and foreign citizens with a high school diploma or degree can enroll in the course. There will be an aptitude test and an interview. You can access the selections by telephone or email.

 

Duration of the course
The duration of the Illustration course is three years. The academic year opens in October and closes in May. The teaching offer of 16 hours per week is carried out with the full immersion formula of 8 hours per day, twice a week. The choice of this hourly formula allows students out of home to be able to attend the lessons comfortably. Our information office is available to students for advice on the choice of courses and on the logistical accommodation for foreign students. During the academic year, the student’s preparation is monitored through oral examinations and evaluations of practical works.
Job opportunities
By increasing the importance given to visual messages and by spreading a greater awareness of the need to give recognizability and personality to the images to be conveyed, the figures of the illustrator fit into all those areas where the construction of integrated communication projects is necessary. The illustrator’s professional outlets are directed towards all those areas where illustration finds concrete application; in particular in the fields of publishing, animation, comics and advertising. The illustrator is, in fact, a fundamental figure for the realization of creative projects and for the ideation of products such as books, posters, covers of all kinds, magazines, cartoons, presentation of advertising projects, illustrative layouts, etc.
Graduation release
At the end of the course is awarded the three-year diploma of Illustration.
Post-curricular area

Placement Office supports students in the selection of the job offers and internships, helping them in the management of job interviews and the preparation of portfolio and CV both in English and in Italian. We give to our students a real service of orientation and Personal Branding at 360º. Our aim is to increase the visibility of our students, driving them through their first professional opportunities.
